colourblindness

The other day i had watched this touching video that my online friend urged me to watch. My friend was like 'this reminded me of your friend tbh'. It was this video.
Yes, it was this video of this colourblind man named Ethan who received an amazing gift from his friend, a pair of glasses for colourblind people to allow their eyes to see the colour they weren't able to see. Throughout the video i honestly shed tears mainly because of Ethan's reaction towards everything. It was obvious how excited he was to be discovering the colour he has never seen before. And by what my online friend said earlier, yes i have a friend who is also colourblind and since then i've started thinking of colourblind people and how it's pretty sad for them to not be able to see all the beautiful colours in the world. The point of this post is to have people acknowledge that there are indeed these kind of inability in this world. Being colourblind doesn't mean that an individual sees everything in black and white but their eyes aren't able to see some colours and some shades like being red-green colourblind. Other than that, it is also to show that the rest of us, most of us have been perfectly created and we are able to see all the colours very well. Despite that, lots of us take colours for granted just because they're something that we see everyday in our human life. My point here is that we should still cherish even the littlest things in life because somewhere on Earth, there are people who aren't even able to experience or see these things because of their inability or defect.
